Adventure Race Regional Series
USARA has assisted in developing two new regional series, one in the Mid-Atlantic and one in the Northeast. These two series, along with established series in Wisconsin and the Rocky Mountains, are partnering with USARA to create new bridges with a bit of extra competition in mind as well.
The effort comes from dialogues with various sanctioned RDs across the country to work on fostering more regional communication, interaction, and collaboration.
USARA is pledging a $400 credit toward the subsequent National Championship for the winning, mixed gender team in for each established series (rankings for this prize will include USARA sanctioned events only). Beyond that, regional RDs are generally autonomous and encouraged to create whatever organizational, rankings, and prize structure works for them within their own regions.
Additionally, there is active communication among the small number of USARA-sanctioned RDs in the Southeast, and we hope to see a series emerge there as well in the near future.
