Mid-Atlantic Adventure Racing Series
With one of the largest and most active adventure racing communities in the nation, the Mid-Atlantic is a perfect place to dive into AR and hone your skillsets. The region has a rich history dating back to legendary race promoters such as American Adventure Sports, GOALS ARA, and Odyssey Adventure Racing, and the region’s current Race Directors have built on the area’s deep foundations to offer a wide range of events with a diverse approach to course design.
We welcome you to join us for this year’s Mid-Atlantic Regional Series. The top ranked team in the mixed-gender 3/4-person category will win a $400 credit toward next year’s National Championship, and the top five-ranked individual men and women will each win $200!

Rankings, Rules, and Prizes
The Mid-Atlantic Regional Series utilizes the USARA rankings to calculate and update our regional rankings of the premier mixed-gender teams and individual racers. The rankings will follow USARA rankings rules and procedures, but only include the races above.
At the end of the season, the top ranked 3/4 person, mixed-gender team will earn a $400 credit toward the USARA National Championship.*
In addition, we’ll use the individual power rankings to award a $200 cash prize to the top five ranked individual men and women.
Tiebreakers
If mixed-gender teams or individuals are tied at the end of the season, ties will be broken in the following manner:
Head-to-head results in regional races
Overall placement in the national USARA rankings
*USARA prize is not deferrable to future seasons.
