USARA National Championship 2027
The 2027 USARA National Championship will be held in Virginia with Broad Run Off Road serving as race director.
The dates for the races have not been finalized.
Of course, the 2026 USARA National Championship will be held on October 23-24 in Central Oregon with Bend Racing as the race director.
Keep reading the Transition for more details on both races when they become available.
May is National Bike Month sponsored by the League of American Bicyclist.
Here are some ride better tips for riding on the road from the League:
Ride on the right
Ride in the same direction as traffic; stay far enough away from curb to avoid hazards
Ride in the right third of the right-most lane that goes in the direction you are going
Ride in the middle of the lane if traveling the same speed as traffic or in a narrow lane
Visibility
Always ride in or near a travel lane; stay visible by riding where drivers are looking
Wear bright clothing
Do not pass on the right; motorists are not looking for other vehicles there
Take the lane
If there is not enough room to share the lane
If traveling the same speed as other traffic or if hazards narrow the usable width
Before intersections and turns to assert your position on the roadway
