The ARWS Adventure Racing World Championship
Racers start to arrive in Corsica on September 27 for one of the world’s biggest adventure racing events—the ARWS Adventure Racing World Championship.
Teams, including 9 flying the US flag, will start on October 1. The challenge will be 500 km of non-stop racing, nearly 20,000 metres of ascent and six to eight days between sea and mountains, with teams entirely self-sufficient. Trekking, mountain biking, kayaking, packrafting and rope descents will make up an extraordinary course.
The Adventure Racing World Championship (ARWC 2026) will bring together the international elite: 400 athletes from 31 nations, including the world’s top three teams. Among them are the 2024 world champions, France’s 400Team Altore, ready to defend their title on home soil.
