Stage 2-Bike

The stage 2 bike was fairly straightforward, although one racer joked that they could have used their packraft for some sections.

This bike leg was longer that originally planned after the 1K swim was canceled due to extremely cold water. The storms that led to flooding across Vermont not only caused the water to be unseasonably cold, but also led to much damage across the state. Many aspects of the course needed to be adjusted for safety, environmental impact, and sensitivity to the local area.

The local community and Vermont Vacation, a race sponsor were happy to have the adventure race community visit the area.
