Partial, incomplete, kind-of leaderboard

9/10/2021

So we have an estimate at a leaderboard of sorts at 5PM local that we can share. As everyone knows by now teams can do the five legs mostly in any order. (Teams cannot do B-C one after the other, or D-E one after the other).

At this point we have a small group of teams that have all completed A, B and E. The times below show when each of the teams started either C or D. This means that they have all completed the same amount of course, and have the same amount left to do, meaning that this is kind of a leaderboard.

There may very well be other teams that are completing Stage 1 in a way that prevents us from comparing their progress directly to these teams, so remember this is NOT in any way official or complete!

  • WEDALI - 2:48
  • Quest - 3:20
  • Rib - 4:02
  • Rootstock 2 - 4:18
  • Bend - 4:45
  • Karta - 4:52
  • Bones - 5:14
  • Rootstock - 5:16

In addition to the times above, WEDALI has just left on their final leg which should take them about 2:30, so it appears they will leave Stage 1 in the lead. Stay tuned over the next couple of hours as we get a more accurate feel for how things are shaping up at the front!

Is this saying Wedali will finish in 2.5 hours or at 2:00am?

WEDALI was estimated to complete their last leg of Stage 1 in approximately two and a half hours. Sorry for the confusion!
