WHO: High Profile Adventures L.L.C.
WHAT: Colorado Adventure Camp IV
WHERE: Base Camp in Silverthorne, Colorado
WHEN: June 20 - 24, 2012
Geared towards adventurous individuals who are interested in an active multi-sport camp where challenge, personal achievement, learning, and camaraderie are had by all. This trip is an "mini expedition" and is off the beaten path. It is not your typical “tourist activity” involving large groups in heavily visited places. Past participants have proclaimed it an "adventure of a lifetime"! Base camp will be conveniently located in the beautiful town of Silverthorne on the banks of the Blue River.
You will spend 4 days in the heart of the Colorado mountains, rock climbing, rappelling, sea kayaking, mountain biking, and mountaineering. The final day of the camp will involve a summit attempt on 14,265' Quandary Peak.
The cost of the camp is only $1195 per person. This includes 4 days of mountaineering adventure, 4 nights of deluxe lodge accommodations, 2 catered evening meals, a daily hosted evening social hour, a 1/2 day sea kayak trip, ropes and rigging, maps, a commemorative gift, and hosted arrival and after summit celebrations. Personal expenses are on your own.
Each day’s activities have been geared to acclimatize you to the altitude, increasing your chances of standing on the summit of one of the highest peaks in Colorado.
Immerse yourself in Colorado's summer playground for adventurer's. Join your experienced host, Gerry Voelliger, and a highly trained support staff to experience a thoroughly planned and hassle free trip on some of his favorite genuine Colorado adventures. Space is limited and quickly sold out last year.
Participants must be in excellent health with a high level of physical fitness.
