The Palmetto Swamp Fox Adventure Race will be held in the Frances Marion National Forest north of Charleston South Carolina. Racers will travel across land, swamp and water seldom visited by man since the elusive Swamp Fox (Francis Marion) and his patriots outwitted Sir Banister Tarleton and his British Dragoons.
Designed to cover approximately 55-60 miles, with a finishing time between 10-12 hours, Solo racers and teams of two & three members will face some of the most challenging obstacles that nature has in this region and will overcome victoriously by using a strategy much like the Swamp Fox. Racers will be required to plot UTM coordinates to locate check points while Kayaking (Approx. 8-10 miles), Mountain Biking (Approx. 28-35 miles) and Trekking (Approx. 8-10 miles) throughout the day possibly facing all elements at any time and not in any particular order. Teams will also be challenged by the obstacles that nature and this director place in front of them. This is a self supported race so all required equipment and food will need to be carried by each racer throughout the day, no exceptions.

Widely known as the “ Toughest 2-Day Race in the Country ", the FIX remains tougher in 2009. Odyssey adds another day, once again, to this challenging and epic adventure race. 50 teams of 2 and 4 persons , along with soloists , will take to the mountains of West Virginia for the 18th Edition of the Odyssey Endorphin FIX Adventure Race. The EFIX continues to expand to a 3-day expedition style race to fulfill the constant requests from racers across the country to have an epic and challenging expedition race that requires a lower financial and time commitment than that of a full 7day or longer event.
The Endorphin Fix will be unsupported throughout this demanding 200+ mile course. The rugged , but scenic terrain of West Virginia and the different disciplines of mt. biking and trekking on fire roads and single track, whitewater rafting, whitewater swimming in class II and III rapids, flatwater paddling, rappelling and ascending towering rock walls, and orienteering though lush forest vegetation will set the stage for an epic event which Odyssey Adventure Racing is known to provide for the wanting adventure athlete.

The Western Carolina Adventure Race will be held in both Edgefield and McCormick counties of South Carolina, covering lands and water of the Sumter National Forest and SC State parks. Racers will be expected to canoe on portions of Clarks Hill and surrounding waterways for approximately 10-12 miles, Mountain bike for approximately 19-25 miles on hard pack, gravel roads, single track and blacktop. Teams should expect to trek/run at anytime during the race for a total 8-12 miles. This race is designed to be completed between 10-12 hours. NOTE: The Western will be designed with an alternate route for a shorter finish time (6-8 hours) for those racers not quite ready for the 10-12 hours.

The Wild Wonderful 24 will take place in the previous home of the Endorphin FIX: the New River Gorge. Geared towards adventurous individuals who are interested in an active camp where challenge, personal achievement and camaraderie are the goals. This trip is off the beaten path and is not your typical “tourist activity” involving large groups in heavily visited places.
You will spend 4 days in the Colorado mountains rock climbing, rappelling, ascending, traversing on fixed ropes, trail running, and trekking. The final day of the camp will involve summit attempts on two 14,000’s peaks.
The cost of the camp is only $900 per person with round trip transportation (minimum of 10) or $700 per person without transportation (driving or flying on your own) to Idaho Springs. Are you looking to go just a bit further, go just a bit longer, and go just a bit tougher? Then this Odyssey race is for you! The classic Odyssey Race will take place in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia.
This Odyssey One-Day Adventure Race will offer a challenging but fun 24 hr course for racers looking to add miles and hours to their race resume, a challenging race for seasoned athletes, but doable for team wanting to step up from a 12 hr or sprint adventure race. As always, Odyssey guarantees a rewarding experience for all!

Moms, Dads, Sons, Daughters, & Couples this will find this event to be a fun, bonding experience with a little mud (rain depending, it could be a lot of mud), sweat and cheer. If you are in good physical condition, have a good pair of running shoes, paddling skills and a mountain bike, then you are ready. It will be a great time in the beautiful outdoors. Parts of the course will be marked, but some map and compass skills will be required.
Teams looking for a more challenging course option will be able to get their fill also. There will be different cutoff times at different points in the race to lengthen the course. The teams that make the cutoff times will be allowed to do a longer trail run and a longer, more technical mountain bike. Minimum age 12 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Come join us for 2+ hours of Family Fun Adventure. This adventure will expose you and your young one to the great outdoors. This will be a great bonding experience for your family by using communication skills, team work and lots of fun to finish this adventure. Minimal map skills are needed. Families will hike and paddle into the beautiful mountains of the Blue Ridge. The Odyssey Family Fun Adventure will have unsupported teams of 2, 3 and 4. Minimum age 6 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Wilderness Adventure is planning on having several activities running during the family expo that will be available, for an additional fee, on Saturday for anyone interested (These activities are subject to change depending on staffing availability):
